Equipment

  • 1 Non Stick Frying Pan
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 100 GM Sweet Corn
  • 10 GM Ginger 1-inch piece, chopped
  • 1 Onion  1 medium, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Salt As per Test
  • 1 tbsp Chickpea Flour
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Green Chilis Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Extra Virgin

Instructions
 

  • Wash and drain sweet corn thoroughly — avoid extra water to keep the batter thick.
  • Blend sweet corn with cumin seeds and salt into a coarse paste.
  • Mix in chopped ginger, onion, and green chilies.
  • Add besan (chickpea flour) and turmeric. Mix everything into a batter.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium flame.
  • Spoon batter into the pan to form small fritters.
  • Shallow fry until golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve hot with green chutney or curd.

Notes

  • Skip water completely while blending to avoid a pancake-like consistency.
  • You can air-fry these fritters with minimal oil.
  • Store in the fridge for 2–3 days and reheat in a pan or air fryer.
  • Combine all ingredients into a thick batter.
  • Heat oil in pan. Drop batter spoon fulls , flatten lightly.
  • Cook on both sides until golden.
  • Serve hot with chutney or yogurt dip.
