Chicken Kabab that is Easy & Flavorful & Homemade All of recipes are for my Diet. This recipe is too. When I first started this Weight Loss Journey, It was never been boring because of my Dietitian. He Told me eat eggs,fish,chicken ,Vegetables ,Nuts,Good Fat like (Olive oil ,Ghee) . I have IBS so I cannot eat certain things .He make that diet chart as per that . So have been creating new recipes in my way . Some are failed but I keep trying . When I was making that Kabab I was so confident that I don’t use binding agent on that minced chicken mixture . In first batch I realized that ,so then I add little bit of Semolina. You will see in the Preparation video that first I was shaping the kababs with the spoon. But while frying them ,the broke down completely .I realized that I need a binding agent to make the shape and hold it together . The flavour is 🤌🏻 ,you should try it out . Ingredients I choose
🥩 Protein
- 300g minced chicken
🥛 For Marinade
- One Medium Sized Onion
- One small Tomato
- Half Red paper
- 1 table spoon vinegar (yes I used too much ,I liked the tangy flavour)
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1-2 green chilies (finely chopped)
- Samolina 2 table spoon
🌶 Spices & Seasonings
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika or Kashmiri red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
🌿 Extra Flavour
- 1 tbsp oil (for moisture)
- Fresh coriander (chopped)
🔥 For Cooking
- 1 tbsp butter or oil (for grilling/pan-frying)
🥣 Step-by-Step Instructions 🥣
Step 1 :- Prepare the Mixture
- Chopped the onion ,red bell paper , green chilis. I like the crunchy way . If you want you can make a paste .
- In a bowl add all chopped ingredients
- Add minced Chicken
- Add 2 table spoon vinegar, salt to test , 1 teaspoon turmeric ,1 teaspoon red chili power .Mix it well
- Just tear some coriander and add to the mixture .
- Add the semolina mix it with your hand .
- Make shape of kabab .
- Cover and let it marinate for at least 1 hour.

Step 2:- Cook the Chicken Kababs
🥘 Pan-Fry Method (Quick & Easy) 🥘
- Heat 1 tbsp butter or Olive oil in a pan.
- Place The kabab and cook on medium heat for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
- See I don’t use extra oil for cooking the chicken .I splash some water and cover it up and it’s completely cooked by then.
Caution :- – You have the check the chicken kabab, because we don’t use extra oil ,we use water And after evaporation ,the kababs are intent to burn .
Grill Method (For Smoky Favour)
- Preheat grill to 200°C (400°F).
- Place the chicken Kabab & grill for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Brush with oil for extra moisture and charred flavour.

- Can I make these kababs without Samolina ?
Yes! You can , just have some patience. And use splash of water and watch the pan. While making the kabab I was completely distracted by something that I don’t remember, But I believe without semolina or chickpea flour this kabab is possible. I will share later that it’s possible . - How can I store and reheat them?
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a pan with a little butter. - Can I freeze the marinated chicken?
Yes! Store marinated chicken in Ziplock bags and freeze for up to 1 month. Just thaw before cooking!
