This mint chicken is so creamy that you have to try it. This is my weight lose recipe. My dietitian told me not to eat curbs because of my Pr-diabetes condition and I don’t take any medicine. So I am cutting all carbs from my diet but sometimes I eat carbs despite of restriction. I grew up in a Bengali household where rice is main steeple. I just can’t cut the rice abruptly. In a week I eat 1 time rice of-course in a lunch . That’s my cheat day you can say. This dish along of my diet recipes that helps me lose weight. Till now in lost 15 kg or 30lbs in 1 year of span. I eat 250 to 300 gm chicken everyday in my dinner. And of course I do walk 5 thousand steps every day . I am not gonna lie Everyday walk is not possible because of knee ligament tear. I can do 10. Thousand steps every day but because of tear next day i cannot walk properly. I will tell you details another time. Enjoy the recipe. I know it will helps you guys .
So I take everyday 300 gm chicken with vegetables saute or vegetable stew .
Preparation Time :-45 minutes total
Ingredients:-
600 gm chicken Leg pieces
Mint leaves – 50 gm or full whole bunch
Coriander leaves – 30 gm or half from a whole bunch
Garlic -10 to 12 cloves
Green chili -8
Curd -100 gm
Salt -2 teaspoon
Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon (for color)
Turmeric -1 tea spoon
Preparation –
Marination-
put mint and coriander leaves,garlic , green chill’s and curd in a mixture.make a paste . In a bowl add salt ,red chili powder , turmeric powder add the mint and curd mixture.Mix them well . Add chicken leg pieces .Mix them well with you hand .put it in a fridge for 1 hour .
Cooking –
In a pan add 1 table spoon olive oil and 1 teaspoon ghee . Pour the chicken mixture with the marinated gravy. Put the lid on and cook it until it’s turn into a Creamy gravy.
Serve it hot.
