Crispy Sweet Corn Fritters (No Maida!) – Gut-Friendly, IBS-friendly snacks

Sweet corn fritters is healthy snack that can be a great addition to your weight loss journey. This dish helps in my weight loss journey . Your weight loss journey should not be a boring one. Whenever I fell like craving for junk food I made this kind of healthy snacks for me. This snack is packed with essential nutrients

Ingredients for Crispy Sweet Corn Fritters
- Sweet Corn – 100g
- Ginger – 1-inch piece, chopped
- Green Chilies – 2, finely chopped
- Onion – 1 medium, finely chopped
- Cumin Seeds – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – As per taste
- Besan (Chickpea Flour) – 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil – For frying

Step-by-Step Preparation
Preparing the Sweet Corn Mixture
- Wash the sweet corn thoroughly and drain any excess water. I used water before ,so that’s make the batter runny . It’s really hard to make any fritters, then it will turn into pancake. I don’t need that . So no water and make the batter coarsely .
- Blend the sweet corn into a coarse paste along with cumin seeds and salt.If you want you can green chilis to this paste .But I like it the crunch of green chilis in my Fritters .
- Chop the ginger, onion, and green chilies finely and mix them with the sweet corn paste.
Making the paste for Fritters
Add 1 table spoon besan (chickpea flour), 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, chopped onion, ginger and green chilis and mix well.

Frying the Fritters
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Take small portions of the batter with a spoon added to the pan in a form of small fritters.
- Sallow Fry the fritters until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- You can make this in Air fryer with more less oil . But prefer it fry them in the pan
Serving
- Serve the crispy sweet corn fritters hot with fresh curd or green chutney.
- You can store them in the fridge and eat whenever you crave for something.


Crispy Sweet Corn Fritters (Healthy & IBS-Friendly)

- 1 Non Stick Frying Pan
- 1 Spatula
- 1 Mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 100 GM Sweet Corn
- 10 GM Ginger 1-inch piece, chopped
- 1 Onion 1 medium, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- Salt As per Test
- 1 tbsp Chickpea Flour
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 Green Chilis Chopped
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil Extra Virgin
Instructions
- Wash and drain sweet corn thoroughly — avoid extra water to keep the batter thick.
- Blend sweet corn with cumin seeds and salt into a coarse paste.
- Mix in chopped ginger, onion, and green chilies.
- Add besan (chickpea flour) and turmeric. Mix everything into a batter.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium flame.
- Spoon batter into the pan to form small fritters.
- Shallow fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot with green chutney or curd.
Notes
- Skip water completely while blending to avoid a pancake-like consistency.
- You can air-fry these fritters with minimal oil.
- Store in the fridge for 2–3 days and reheat in a pan or air fryer.
